Rêver Workshop: For Wedding Photographers

The Rêver Workshop for Wedding Photographers is a time for connection, growth, and talking all things photography and business. Join us for a day of discussing branding, social media, rediscovering your passion, and end the afternoon by building a beautiful portfolio with our small group signature styled shoots.

Education + Discussion (and food) Time: We will begin our day gathering at the Haseltine Estate to mingle and get to know one another. We will partake in a delicious lunch provided by Tea Bar & Bites while listening to our guest speakers present on topics such as the power of branding, social media made simple, and the psychology of achieving your best goals.

Hands-on Shooting Time: The second part of this workshop will be a three-hour styled shoot. Attendees will be divided up into small groups and put into rotation so that they can get the most out of their time with the models, as well as styling and shooting the various vignettes.

We'll end the day in the early evening so that all of our attendees can have enough travel time to back it back to their home destinations. All attendees will walk away with new friends, a beautiful portfolio of new work, a set of headshots, and a renewed sense of passion for wedding photography.

THE STYLED SHOOT:

Fact: Typically, a fully stylized shoot with professional vendors, a venue, floral installations and bouquets, and designer gowns costs on average between $2,000-4,000.

As a entrepreneur, making investments in styled shoots can often lead to amazing networking opportunities, higher profitability, getting published, and produces an elevated portfolio... But, the hours of planning and execution often exceed 100+ hours.

During the styled shoot, attendees will have the chance to shoot a styled engagement session, bridal session, and wedding session. The styled engagement session will include a real couple, and will take place on the lawn of the estate. The bridal session will include plenty of flowers and a designer gown, and will take place in the Haseltine's sunroom.

The wedding session will include a real bride and groom, a designer dress, bridesmaids and groomsmen, a tablescape, bridal details to photograph, an invitation suite flat lay, cake and cocktails, and more. We will also have a styling station that attendees will use to practice styling with ring boxes, rings, ribbons, styling boards, invite suites, flowers, etc. Expect to walk away with a slew of portfolio-worthy content that you can use to market and promote your business for the rest of the year.

Magnolia Belle Floral: Anna's floral designs have been showcased in highly acclaimed publications such as Style Me Pretty and Magnolia Rouge. Specializing in floral work that is wild and romantic, this Arkansas native will be gracing us with her talents, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Susie Saltzman, Rings: Based in New York City, Susie offers an alternative to traditional fine jewelry. Her modern approach to timeless design is effortless, easy to wear and offers something unexpected while still feeling as though it could have spanned generations passed and those to come.

Emily Edgar, Makeup Artist: Emily worked in the fashion editorial industry in New York City for many years before returning to her hometown of Springfield. Emily emphasizes women's natural beauty, and has a special talent for all things makeup. You'll be amazed by her work.

Brianne Wright, Diamonds and Dos: Brianne Wright, owner of Diamonds and Dos, has been awarded for her "Pinterest-worthy" hair, and recognized by Style Me Pretty for her styling– among other publications. Specializing in effortless, loose, and natural looks, Bri makes everyone look magazine-ready.

InLoft Calligraphy: InLoft Calligraphy, located in Los Angeles, California, specializes in bespoke wedding stationery and calligraphy. Featured in countless publications, lead artist, Ivon, works to create lovely masterpieces that compliment any wedding design.

Claire Pettibone, Wedding Dresses: Pettibone started designing couture bridal gowns in 2005 and so began a real shift in wedding style. The garden, vineyard, rustic and vintage inspired weddings that have become so ubiquitous, showcase many of the designer’s creations. Claire’s gentle use of color, couture details, European laces and graceful embroideries flutter and flow to make a woman look and feel like a goddess.

Bella Belle, Wedding Shoes: Inspired by the Italian word for “Beautiful”, Bella Belle was born to make women feel stunning and comfortable.
